i feel like this post is very relevant to...jamie, <br /><br />i feel like this post is very relevant to what i see in youth ministry. however i don't think it stops there, i think that the adults also involved get caught up in how it used to be with the excitement and numbers and want to desperately duplicate that somehow even though we are not seeing much fruit from past decades of this type of out reach and ministry. there are however cases where we do see great results and that's where God changes students and they desire to be obedient and live by His word. God and His word, when set in the place of most importance before any other programs and "flash" is the only way to produce fruit.
