Driscoll on Free Will
This is another video clip by Mark Driscoll. The topic is free will.
What do you think of Driscoll's view on free will. This clip is very short and he doesn't get into it to much but you get the basic idea of where he is going.
If you respond please use scripture for your defense.
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—
Ephesians 2

I agree with Mark. Dead people can't do much to come alive.

Lynn,
That is pretty good.
But remember we are born in sin.
jamie,we're born in sin but since christ died the wages for that sin has been paid.he now offers freely eternal life to whosoever will repent and believe .to those who do the rotorrooterman(the holy spirit}cleans to perfection that one who was spiritually dead.i'm sure glad i didn't have to depend on what i did do or didn't do or what i can do or can't do.what has to be done has already been done. jesus paied the penalty , the holy spirit done the cleaning my only input was repentance and faith and i believe its romans that says faith is not a work.
the prior anonymoous was lynn helton who when it comes to computer skills is truly dead
Lynn,
You make some very good points.
God bless you my brother.
We are in the same boat when it comes to computer skills.
The example of how Jesus calls out for Lazarus and the same way calls for us is right on the mark.
