However, I am preaching on Hebrews 12:1-2 this Sunday and various English translations, whether word-for-word or thought-for-thought, have inserted a little word "our", includind the NIV, ESV, KJV, RSV and NRSV. Only the 1977 and 1995 NASB versions correctly omit the word.
So this criticism cannot be limited to one particular version :)
