Do Calvinist evangelize? That was a question asked by a friend I have when we were discussing the question of Calvinism or as i like to call it Reformed theology. I just told him i don't know, do you? He was like most of us when he said, "No"!
So do Calvinist evangelize. Below are some quotes from a Reformed pastor people on both sides of the fence quote Charles Spurgeon:
From all our congregations a bitter cry should go up unto God, unless conversions are continually seen. If our preaching never saves a soul, and is not likely to do so, should we not better glorify God as peasants, or as tradesmen? What honour can the Lord receive from useless ministers? Yes, Calvinists evangelize to fulfill what God already knows is going to happen to save His lost children. That is why not everyone accepts the invitation. Inevitably, we sometimes invite those not destined for an eternity with the Savior. I evangelize several times a week on my job where I meet a varied host of people.
